October 2015

Mark Oettinger

Mark was named to the 2015 New England Super Lawyers list, a designation limited to 5 percent of admitted lawyers. Selection is based on independent research, peer nomination, and peer review.

Mark was an invited guest at the 16th annual International Conference of World Chief Justices, in Lucknow, India, from October 7 to 14. This was third time that Mark was invited to present on the progress of a pro bono project which he directs and whose mission is the creation of a World Court of Human Rights. The project, and the draft Statute of the Court, were formally endorsed by the World Chief Justices in 2014, and Mark's work was cited as a highlight of the Chief Justices’ accomplishments over the past year.

Mark was a service provider at the First Burlington Congregational Church's monthly pro bono legal clinic (a project that he founded), on Sunday, October 25, 2015.
