A lifetime of refusing to conform to the mold has taught me that every situation has its own unique solution. I bring this perspective to all of my cases.
Evan Barquist is a general practice litigator. He represents clients in criminal and traffic defense matters, civil litigation, and real estate litigation.
Evan grew up around the country and around the world, though only on two continents so Mark is still ahead. Evan left high school a year early to attend college at Bard College at Simon’s Rock, graduating in 2006. After a brief career in the movie industry, he ran away to attend law school. Evan graduated from New York Law School in 2010, where he was the Executive Editor of the Media Law and Policy journal. Evan moved to Vermont after graduation, where he clerked for the Chittenden County State’s Attorneys before hanging out his shingle. Before joining MBO, Evan ran a successful solo practice. Evan and his family live in Colchester with 3 small children and a menagerie of pets, and he’ll be more civically engaged when they let him sleep again.
